Who knows you so well that she can laugh at you before you can laugh at yourself.  One who knows exactly what it takes to make you laugh and isn’t afraid to do it.  One who will take a swatch and make it the essence of your personality.  And then she makes you cry by naming it.  Especially since the orignal name Poobah’s Bra wasn’t gonna go over well in the digiworld.

I just love this new kit that Kristine did.  She named it Soul Sister.    You have to go and check out what her CT did with it.

I was playing with it one day, I used it on one  of the pages I did for the grad/birthday book I did.  I took this photo of Shannon and replaced the photo of Lori from the page, added the little tag line….

Just in case you can’t read the tag, it says…..Is this what sexy looks like???????  I’m sure that Shannon would kill me if he knew I a) did the page in the first place, b) put it on my blog.  I wasn’t gonna but a few weeks later this is what I got back in the email.

BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA……Not only did I spit out my diet coke all over the monitor but I cackled for at least 5 minutes on this one.  Fortunately I was the only one in the office that day.  See I told you she knows what I need…and what I need to make me laugh.  While she doesn’t get the Sawyer obsession, she gets me.  And that’s what’s important.  All joking aside, Kristine, you complete me.  bwhahahahahaha  No seriously, thank you so much for all your support, laughs, jokes and a few good kicks in the ass when I needed it.  MWAH!

I know, I’m a baaaaaad blogger and an even worse blogger friend.  I’m a horrendous challenge hostess too.  I’ve pretty much done absolutely nothing within the scrapping community for the past month.  I haven’t even been by my own store forum in days.   I have however been scrapping.  Shutterfly keeps sending me codes for free books.  I’ve done 3 in the past month.  One for my friends graduation/birthday.  (She REALLY loved it too, which is always hit or miss with people who don’t scrap) and 2 of pages I did of the kids.  The last one I had to do an additional 10 pages and haven’t had a chance to even upload any of those into a gallery anywhere.  I’ll show you a few of those shortly.

So I pretty much spend my days at work scrapping to get these books done (cuz who knows when I’ll have time to scrap once I find a new job) and looking for jobs.   I’m supposed to hear about the one I interviewed for last week today sometime.  I’m not holding my breath.  It’d be a nice job and one that I could easily do without any problems, but….just a feeling I have.   So I’m scouring the help wanted boards in between sentences here.  I can multitask, can I add that to my resume. bwhahahaha

Today is the first day of school for a lot of kids around here.  In Michigan, it’s a law that school can’t start until after Labor Day.  So it seems to be really, really early for kids to start school to me.  However, I know some mom’s who are now doing their little happy dance and may just be having a strong margarita right about now.  Can’t say I blame them.

Ok, back to the scrapping stuff. 

Kristine (now Designs by Kristine, used to be Wenchd Grafix) has a new kit in her store today.  It’s called Taylar’s Gift and it’s terrific, all purply with just a hint of acid green.

And I got to play with it.  One of these pages, Kristine hasn’t seen yet.  But it won’t make you cry either girl.

Word art by Bethany.  Have you been to her blog??  She does the most amazing word art. I’d kinda forgotten about her when I was designing, but now I’m scrapping I seriously have almost all of her freebies and a list a mile long for stuff I’d love from her store.

And one I did of Josh.  I don’t get a lot of photos of him, ya know with him being a teenage terror (nah, he’s a good boy). I’ve dug deep into my stash for scrapping stuff lately and pulled out Autumn Glory by Flergs/Birgit Kerr.

And In July I was Rakd by Lindsay Jane and I finally got around to finding good photos for the kit.  I think they turned out great and are side by side in the photobook.

So I guess that’s enough eye candy for you to deal with today.  Guess I shouldn’t wait a month to update.  Hopefully I’ll have some good news to update.  And if not, then a few pages.  Actually I do have some pages for Friday.  So I’ll try to get that one done and not make you wait.  So now I’m back to the want ads.  Thanks for stopping by and checking on me.  Hopefully I’ll get to do the same.
