Kristine sent me this swatch waaaay back in the begining of May (heck maybe even April) and I kept pushing it aside to work on other stuff.  I got bits and pieces done and got off to other stuff again.  Then my mojo totally disappeared.  So I tried to finish it up so that Kristine wouldn’t have to give away her part alone.  So I present to you – Watermelon Dreams.

Wow, tomorrow is my 2 yr scrap anniversary.  I’ve been playing for 2 years.  It doesn’t seem like it’s been that long.  I wish I could find the passion I had for it in the begining.  The last month has just been a drain.  But I did win a new kit from the Happy place over at DST and it just happens to be from one of my faves over at my first home SBB.  Take a look.   Lindsey Jane’s  Cooked to Perfection.

I was looking at some of the first pages I did 2 years ago.  Boy what a difference time makes.  But I do want to share one particular one that I love.  The design and technique isn’t good, at all.  But the photo and subject matter is one that is dear to my heart.

That’s Emily looking at a tribute board with photos of my dad the week after he passed.  I can still show her a picture of him and with a little prompting she can remember him.  As you can see, it’s definately a beginner’s page.

Well, I’m off to the campground this weekend.  It’s a graduation party for one of our friends.  She graduated from Nursing school.  I’m going to attempt to make pudding shots.  Thanks to Kristine who is always raving about them.  Who knows, I just may start a new trend here in the states too. :0)
