There’s so much going on in the digiscrapping world this week/weekend.  Are you ready for it all?  Did you make room on your disk drive?  Did you load up your paypal?  How will you celebrate?  Sales, chats, challenges, freebie hunts???  Tell me all about it.  Cuz just like last year, I’m gonna miss it.  But I remember that last year I still managed to spend a LOT of money and bought a LOT of stuff (some of which I never used????)  So maybe it’s a good thing that I’ll be away from the computer on Saturday.   But remember I have lots of great deals going on too.  More about that a bit later.

Well, it’s been a week since I joined the gym.  And of all the days that it was possible for me to go, I only missed 1.  And I lost 7 lbs this week.  But I am soooooo tired.  I’ve been getting up at 6:15  in the morning, but still not getting to bed until after the 11 o’clock news starts.  Today I did random hills on the treadmill and it was a lot like walking up hills, very tiring and boy can I feel it in my legs.  But that’s the point right?!  Today I also started on the circuit machines.  I did arms.  I didn’t realize how much of my strength I’d lost over the past few years.  But wowser, when I tried the dumbell curls withthe weight I thought I could handle I about killed myself. lol  I had to drop it down to the lowest weight possible.  But I know that as long as I keep with it, I’ll build that strengthback up, along with my stamina.  So while I’m tired, I’m quite pleased with my efforts.

Back to NSD, lol.  Cuz isn’t that why your here?  Scrappin stuffs.

How was your weekend?  I hope that you had as wonderful weather as we had.  It was gorgeous ALL weekend long.  Made for a terrific weekend down at the camper.  And the back of my neck is so sunburned. lol.  It was facing the sun pretty much the whole time we were throwing horseshoes.  Had to throw against Shannon the first and last game.  (the bum) And he beat me both times.  Fortunately we had a win in between.  And I threw a 6 pack, but it was during practice, when no one else be Shannon and the dogs were there.  But I did it.  For those of you who don’t know horseshoes (and that was me until last year), a 6 pack is 2 ringers in a row.  Not an easy feat for a begininger.  Actually, I’ve only thrown 1 other one.  Well, I wasn’t gonna win any awards for my arm on Saturday, but a girls gotta start somewhere.  I was pretty impressed with Shannon too, he’s stepped up his game.  It was a good weekend.

So today (Monday) is my debut at Inspiration Lane.  I’m so excited.  And I’m so excited for you to see what I’ve done.  And learned.  Hopefully it will make me a better designer.   First let me show you the collab between me and Kiki Halbert.  It’s a masculine kit, Strong Silent Type.

I absolutely loved working on this kit.  I so wish I had made time to scrap some of the photos I have of Shannon and the dogs.  This kit is just perfect for your mens photos.  And I just love what my girls did with it.  Aren’t they awesome layouts!!!  And there’s more to come. lol

I’m off to bed to be able to get up and get my butt to the gym.  I’m hoping that I didn’t mess myself up by missing the last 2 days while I was at the campground.  I forgot my tennis shoes so I didn’t really do any good amount of walking like I should have.  But I ate sensibly.  That’s gotta count for something?????

It’s FRIDAY!!!!  And it’s supposed to be absolutely GORGEOUS out all weekend long.  I’m actually looking forward to going down to the campground this weekend.   And I’ll get a chance to warm up my pitching arm.  Horseshoe pitchin that is.  It’s weather like this that makes the weekend worthwhile.

Yep, I made it back to the gym again this morning.  On a roll, 2 mornings in a row.  Yesterday morning, I was the only one in the gym at that time.  This morning I went a little earlier and there were a few people there.  I did a 18 minute mile.  Not great, but not that bad for someone who has been sitting on her butt for a long time now.   The only thing worrying me is it may aggravate my neck/shoulder.  All I’ve done is the treadmill and some stretching but I’m definately feeling it in my neck.  (and my glutes today since I did take the incline up).  Hopefully with being gone this weekend, I won’t have an issue on Monday morning getting up.

Monday is my debut over at Inspiration Lane.   I’m really excited to be joining the wonderful ladies over there.  Now I have 3 amazing homes.  So watch for a collab between me and Kiki Halbert called Strong, Silent Type and a hertiage feel kit called I Remember Mama coming out on Monday.  I hope to have a freebie up on Monday too, so check back.
