I was sitting at work one day, listening to the radio and Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Simple Man came on and I thought what a great name for a kit. And of course, it had to be a manly kit. So I had a vision in my head and hit the ground running. Simple Man is one of my favorite songs and in my mind, it’s the song that Shannon’s mom would sing to him. Especially the part about finding a good woman. Actually maybe it’s my wish for him too. Anyway, here’s my concept of Simple Man.
And the word art is included in the kit and being offered separately too.

or the Great White North, or even Detroit again. It’s called ice. I’m sure that many of you were hit by the same storm and know what I’m talking about. I heard that Paducah Kentucky will most likely be without power for a week. Thank God it wasn’t that bad here. It took me 20 minutes to chip all the ice off the car so I could drive to work yesterday. Fortunately the county was under a level 2 snow emergency so the streets were relatively empty. Once I got out of the subdivision it only took about 10 minutes more to get to work. Then after the ice the snow hit. White out conditions, it was bad. Right before lunch I get a call from my boss, who’s sitting at home, saying she was checking on sending us home due to the weather. At 2:25 we got an email saying the offices closed at 2. So nice they told us. It took twice as long to get home as it did to get to work because there were more drivers on the road and they plowed them, but the ice was still there making it very slick. I’ll take 12 inches of snow over a half inch of ice anyday!
I sleep with the tv on. But I can’t sleep with the volume up. It’s just something I do. I woke up this morning and this was on the news.
I wasn’t sure if I was still dreaming. It was very funny. I looked for it on YouTube but the one they had wasn’t as good as this one. It’s amazing what hackers can do. Stupid but amazing.
